VMAX IP™ 8- and 16-Channel NVRs, when combined with VMAX IP™ and MEGApix® 720p and 1080p Cameras, deliver simple and hassle-free complete IP video surveillance systems. The VMAX IP NVR includes an embedded PoE switch to power and manage the IP camera through a single cable. The NVR provides full real-time HD 1080P live streaming and recording, network monitoring, auto and remote firmware upgrade, free and simple DDNS service and event notifications via email or text. DW^®’s VMAX IP Network Video Recorder is designed specifically to operate with DW^®’s MEGApix cameras. Most of the MEGApix cameras can be connected directly to the NVR’s local PoE switch, receiving power and transmitting data to the NVR directly. The list below applies to the 4, 8 and 16 channel VMAXIP models. Some cameras require higher voltage (mainly for IR purposes), and may require an additional PoE injector.
